This is what they want. Track listings as below, I have included comments for each track. You may notice that the disc contains several unreleased songs including"Empty Dreams' which was meant to be a single. Other highlites include' The British Way of Life ' with the Who's brass section. There are several songs not included, such as 'The Red, The White and The Blue' and 'Nowhere Land', the reason is that these songs where never finished and are purely demos.

This CD release empties the studio tracks by the band. The only unreleased tracks that I know of now are the BBC sessions. Several of you have contacted the site saying you have alternative versions of Maybe Tomorrow with different lyrics, these must be the Kid Jensen sessions and should be available soon on Detour records. Details to follow.

GIGS >>>>>>
To start with yes the Chords are doing a gig on the 25th at the Rhythm Factory London. The problem for us is that it is invite only and the invites are only available from the book publishers. The Book title is 'MOD, a very British Phenomenon' and is written by Terry Rawlings. It features the history of mod and is meant to have many pictures, from what I can gather it is like the MODS book but with up to date pictures etc...
If you would like the chance to go, go to the 'contact us' page and fill in the comments box with your , Name and Phone number on which you can be contacted at short notice.

Talks are underway for several larger scaled gigs next year. At the Astoria next year there is to be a two day festival, bands rumoured to be booked already are, The Purple Hearts, Undertones and others..

Website additions >>>>
New parts to the web site this month are:
Billy scrapbook. Two pages of pictures from Billy's scrapbook. Many pictures I have never seen before. Highlights include pics from first gig with Paul Halpin on drums, the first proper photo shoot on London Bridge and many others. Find it in the pictures sections on this web site.

Dennis Munday, he of the Jam and Polydor has written a nice piece about The Chords. Find his memoirs in the interview section.

Downloads
I have employed a designer to start making wallpapers and screensavers for you to download. At the moment there is only a wallpaper available. The next thing to be developed will be screensavers, to follow are posters and tshirts.
